南京大学，简称“南大”，是中国历史最悠久、学术声誉最卓著的高等学府之一，其前身为1902年创建的三江师范学堂，是中国近代高等教育的先驱。百余年来，南大始终站在中国教育与学术发展的前沿，为国家和社会培养了大批优秀人才。
南大在人文学科、社会科学、自然科学、人工智能、天文、环境科学等众多领域具有领先地位，拥有一流的教学科研体系，汇聚了两院院士、长江学者、杰出青年等高水平师资队伍。学校设有30余个学院、130多个专业，现有在校学生超过4万人，校区遍布鼓楼、仙林与浦口。

Nanjing University (NJU), one of China’s most prestigious and historic institutions, originated from Sanjiang Normal School, founded in 1902. As a pioneer of modern higher education in China, NJU has played a leading role in shaping the nation’s academic and intellectual landscape for more than a century.
With academic strength in humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, astronomy, AI, and environmental studies, NJU maintains a world-class faculty, including academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Engineering, Changjiang Scholars, and recipients of national research awards.
The university comprises 30+ schools, offering over 130 programs, with more than 40,000 students across its three campuses in Gulou, Xianlin, and Pukou. As part of China’s Double First-Class, Project 985, and Project 211, NJU maintains long-term collaborations with top global universities.
NJU has produced many influential alumni, including:

南京大学新西兰校友会成立于2015年，是一个由南大校友自发组织、在新西兰注册的非营利组织，现有成员超过100人。我们致力于服务在新西兰学习、工作和生活的南大人，定期举办聚会、讲座、职业交流与文化活动，增进校友情谊，帮助新校友融入当地生活。

Founded in 2015, the Nanjing University Alumni Association of New Zealand is a registered non-profit organization for NJU alumni living in New Zealand, with over 100 members. We support alumni through regular gatherings, talks, career events, and cultural celebrations—building strong connections and a sense of belonging.
Our core services include Academic Support, Career Development, and Community Engagement. Whether you’re new to New Zealand or have been here for years, we warmly invite all NJU alumni to join us and be part of this growing, supportive NJU family in Aotearoa.
